What Are Milestone Sessions?

Milestone sessions focus on the in-between stages of your baby’s first year.

Here’s a general guide to when you might want to plan a session:

3-4 months: Once your baby starts smiling and laughing when they see you.
6-7 months: When your baby can sit up unassisted for a few minutes at a time.
8-9 months: When your baby is crawling, standing, or pulling up on furniture.

I love incorporating parents into these sessions to capture that beautiful connection, though it’s entirely optional.

We can hold the session at my studio in Bel Air, in your baby’s nursery, or outdoors at a park. I serve families throughout Harford County and the Baltimore area who are looking for a thoughtful, full-service photography experience.

How Booking Works

Milestone sessions are typically reserved in advance, often after your newborn session. While a tentative timeframe is placed on the calendar, the final session date is adjusted once your baby reaches the milestone we’re planning to photograph.
