The first year goes faster than anyone warns you about. One week they are a newborn, and somehow three months later they are smiling at you like they have known you their whole life. Six months after that they are sitting up on their own, then pulling themselves up, then gone into toddlerhood before you had a chance to catch your breath.
Milestone sessions exist to slow that down. Based in Bel Air and serving families across Harford County, Baltimore, and Maryland, I photograph babies at the stages that matter most, so you have something real to hold onto when the next stage arrives.

What Are Milestone Sessions?
Milestone sessions are focused portrait sessions that document your baby at specific stages during their first year. Rather than waiting for a birthday or a holiday, these sessions capture who your baby is right now, at this exact age, with all the expressions and personality that come with it.
I typically photograph milestone sessions at three stages:
3 to 4 months: Your baby is smiling, making eye contact, and starting to show their personality. This is one of my favorite ages to photograph because everything is still brand new and their reactions are completely genuine.
6 to 7 months: Sitting unassisted, reaching for things, laughing out loud. The 6-month session is the one families almost always say they are most glad they did.
9 months: Crawling, pulling up, standing with support. This age has so much movement and expression that every frame tells a story.
Sessions can be held at my studio in Bel Air, in your baby’s nursery at home, or as a hybrid combining both. Parents and siblings are always welcome to join for part of the session.
How Milestone Session Booking Works
Most families book their milestone sessions right after their newborn session, while the timing is top of mind. We then confirm and adjust as your baby actually reaches the milestone we are planning to photograph.
This flexible approach means you are never trying to force a session before your baby is ready. We wait for your baby, not the calendar.

The Baby Plan First Year is designed to beautifully document your baby’s biggest milestones with four sessions across their first year.
When you prepay, you’ll save $250 or more, and your savings increase even more if you choose the larger collections for all four sessions.
